We had no meeting on Monday last, but on talking with some of our members it was left to me, after seeing our Tres. statement to make some [[?]] appointments in Maryland. This statement I will not pt before next Monday but will take the Authority to appoint [[underlined]] Miss York [[/underlined]] and you may send her at once.

I have promised Miss Ketchum the Oxen Run school, or some good place [[underlined]] near [[/underlined]] Washington City — As you say Oxen Run will
