Col. R. R. Corson,

Dear Sir:
Some time since, I addressed a communication to you, asking information on the subject of my incidental expenses; to which I received an answer stating that for my incidental expenses, I must apply to the Bureau Agent for this District. Since that time, I have received information than Venning's incidental expenses have been paid by your association; and furthermore, Major Vanderlip wrote to me, directing me to apply to you for the payment of said expenses. The amount is two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) which if not paid by your association, will I fear be lost to [[underlined]] me [[/underlined]].

My school is in a flourishing condition, being composed of fifty five (55) day, and (72) night, scholars. They are all
