States that he called on Col. [[underlined]] Corson [[/underlined]] who says that when they assumed the Washington teachers' it was not intended that an equal expense should be incurred in Md. That they have five teachers ready to start, and that Col [[underlined]] Corson [[/underlined]] will urge the appointment of more at the meeting of the Board on Monday.

Thinks this Society will supply all teachers that we can find places for. Asks, if he shall endeavor to meet the Board? How many School Houses will be ready by Feby. 1st?
