Dear Sir:
In the absence of Mr Kennedy - I have been requested to write you touching the question of removal from our field in Washington.  The Teachers' Committee of the New York Board of the Commission will at once withdraw their support from the Washington Schools and Transfer them to the Trustees of Education in the District.  The instant the money ($21.000) is paid for the maintenance of the Colored Schools. But
