teachers during the past year seem to have been remarkably well chosen & to have done a good work, but some of them felt quite discouraged at finding their positions so much more difficult than they had any right to expect; Miss Gould especially seems to have had a hard time.

I wish we could send you some teachers next year, I am sure.
