Received letter of the 31st ult. States that they do not expect to have many teachers to spare for Maryland but will furnish some : that Mr. [[underlined]] James [[/underlined]] wishes to return to Parker's Creek. Desires to have good places selected for the two colored girls he spoke of, to commence teaching October 1st

Requests to be furnished with a list of ten or twelve good places where teachers are wanted.
