Balto, October 9th 1868

Rev. Jno. Kimball

Dear Sir:
I believe we can get the white lady referred to comfortably accommodated at Sandy Spring, Montgomery Co. Please give her transportation to that point, and tell her to write me on her arrival there, so that I can give her instructions as to the rules by which she is to be governed. Or, perhaps it would be better for her to come to Balto. so that I may have a personal interview with her. I think this would be the better plan.

Transp'n. to Balto. From B. to Laurel, thence by Stage to S.S.
