Dear Mr Kimball

That's rather a rough sample of writing from Mrs Davenger. Not so good as she wrote here in my office. I wish your could visit her school. We do not like sending out such teachers, but this woman we thought would do so much good in the school that she ought to go.

Has Genl Howard printed the agreement, made the day we met at his office? If so I would like much to have a copy. And know how we are to get this $10 pr month. Please make up your A/C in full with us to Dec 1st 68.

Very truly Yours
