My Dear Mr Kimball
I am making up a full list of our teachers to send you but have to wait for some letters yet a short time.

Genl Howard told me he would pay us rent for some schoolhouses which we own, for two years [[underlined]] back pay [[/underlined]] I will send that in also.

Do the cars run south from Washington "Orange & Alx. R R" to Lynchburg on Sundays? I expect to go South from here next Saturday week (5th) and am thinking of spending a day in Washington on my return which will be about Monday 14th Will Genl O.O.H. be in the city do you think about that time?

Very truly Yours
