Enclosed please find a list of our teachers for the months of Oct. Nov. & Dec. with bills for rent of buildings. Also a bill for rent of buildings for two years back, from last Oct. (68).

I hope you may find these accounts correct, and that you will have no trouble in collecting the same (as our Agent,) for we now depend on the little aid we receive from the Freedmen, and this rent from the Bureau to keep our schools open. Depending upon this money from the Bureau, we have now twice as many teachers in the field, as we ever had before. Should anything prevent our getting this money, we will have to
