Rev. Kimball
Supt of Education
Washington D.C.

I in the early part of last month recieved from Cushing & Bailey a parcel of books, amount which were [[underlined]] 36 [[/underlined]] 3rd Readers which with a very small exception I did not order [[underlined]] nor do not need. [[/underlined]] What shall I do with them? I do not think [[underlined]] they [[/underlined]] should be deducted from my salary.

The primary Arithmetics which I ask for were not sent me, I need them much.
