Rev Jno Kimball
Washington, D.C.

Dear Sir:
We will take Hamilton E. Keys from the 1st of Jan. Miss Howell left last night for Liberty. She says there is no place a colored woman could board at her school. Talbot does not get his transportation from Baltimore, and I think I will offer him the place. I wish you would find some place for Miss Currey, and send her transportation. She is quite anxious to go. I send you a check for $356.91 on account of Maryland teachers. I think this overpays you, and will make out a Statement in full, and send it to you as soon as I have time to do so. As we now have about three times as many teachers in Maryland as we intended to take first, besides the 20 from Baltimore, I think we have our hands full & will not be able to take any more.
