Sir:
I am glad the Baltimore Association takes Currey & Owens. I wrote to Core Saturday asking him to send one of them to Kent Co, as I understood that they wanted a teacher. Miss Howells old place is still open, which she says a colored person could not get board within two miles of the school house. We have a white lady a Miss Inghram of Erie, Pa who would go there, and if you think well of it, and would send us her transportation I would send it to her.

Why would it not do to send Miss Mary E. Robinson there in place of her going over to Va.? If she will go there I will promise that we will take her, making our 31st teacher. On the other hand I cannot promise [[underlined]] sure [[/underlined]] that the board
