Dear Sir:
Yours of 1st. inst. was referred by the Board to this office, Saturday night.

There are sixty-two schools under the supervision of the Board.

The number of teachers is sixty-three - of whom forty are colored and twenty-three are white.

There were three thousand, four hundred, and ten pupils in attendance during October. No Sabbath schools.
