Respected Sir
I received the register and the blanks on yesterday that did not get the letters until tonight. I did not comence school until the first of the month as the people were not expecting me, so I sent a notice to the parents that I should open on the following Monday. I open with five [[strikethrough]] schl[[/strikethrough]] scholars but it has increased to 19. I also have a night school of 23 moking in all. 2,2. I fired that they are greatly in Weint of books not more that seven having books. I brought with me one Doz spelling color a pen [?].
