Mr. Kimball,
I have no doubt you think that I am endowed with all tardiness, by not haveing answer your letter. I have been waiting to get the school in oppuration before writting to you, & I as I have made a beginning today I also write you. I hope you will excuse the delay of these papers, I could not get any large envelops to return them in. I am about 23 years old, & attend the Baptis church.

After takeing the $1.50 from my salary please pay the $18.50 to Miss Mann. I have been engaged all the time since I came here, in working on, & for the school house, also teaching in about in famlies. Today I commenced in the house, with it unfinished
