Uniontown D.C. May 2nd 1868

Rev. Jno. Kimball
Bureau Supt. of Schools

Dear Sir
I employed a colored man to move a stove to the Howard School for Miss Hall with the understanding that Supt. Johnson would see the charge paid. Mr. Johnson sends word that you wish me to communicate the fact to you. I referred the colored man to Johnson for settlement and do not know the am't of charge

Very respectfully
