I would be glad to continue my school until Christmas, but owing to going to school myself I cannot continue. So I will close my school on the 30th inst and leave for Washington. I would have been glad to have had you come down before I left but I suppose you could not come. I also tender to you my sincere thanks for the honor which I feel has been confered upon me in regard to my employment during the vacation of my school. Now may the blessing of God ever rest upon you, and may you ever have success in the great work that you are now engaged in. I also ask your prayer in my behalf that my labor may be crowned with success, and that I may be better prepared for future duties. No more at present but remain Sir your most obedient servant
