Woodvill Oct 4. 1868

Mr. Kimball Our Friend

Dear Sir

I will now give you a brief account of Horse Head School House. I have just returned from there myself and assure you that is fair way for being finished very soon. They have already sealed the roof and made the benches, and have sent on to Baltimore for lime to plasted with. Every thing else is finished except plastering. Every thing will be completed in two weeks. The trustees have held a meeting at the School House and have come to the conclusion that thee is not any convenient place to board a Teacher. The committee appointed me [[strikethrough]] the [/strikethrough]] to offer to give Aaron Wems as a teacher. and he promises to teach for a reasonable price
Please to let me know wether you are willen for him to teach or not, and wether you will give him any salary. Please to let me know very soon.
We wish to have our teacher at Woodvill as soon as possible.

Your respectfuly
