To Rev. Jno. Kimball

Dear Sir

It affords me great pleasure to acquaint you of the proggress at my School. The children are improving rappidly seeming to take interest in their studies. I have been always impressing upon them the necessity of good deportment. The only things [[strikethrough]] on [[/strikethrough]] I need now is a desk & Blackboard. I am inquiring daily if any person with a wagon is going to Washington so as to get them to call for the articles.

You will please send my Draft for Salary, to M.M. Douglas No.61 Davis St. I mean my Salary for Jan. Please to do so until you are directed to the contrary, the Draft for Jan. has not been rec'd at Balt. up to the present time.

With Much Respect,
