Mr. D.G. Swain.

Dear Sir,
yours of the 25th inst was duly Recieved and in answer, I wanted to say, I think Miss. Whittington, would have had quite a suficient school if we could have got a school room, we had a room rented but we could not hold it but for one month and we found that we could not get the church ready in that time and Miss. Whittington went home untill we are ready for her. As to the apprisiation of a Teacher I think she would have been appriciated with quite a large school this winter, if we had have had a school house
