Blue Marsh, Montgomery Co., Md.,
Jan. 15th, 1868.

Rev. John Kimball,

Dear Sir,
Some two weeks since I wrote you to send 20 Arithmetics and 20 writing=books, as directed in your circular; but they have not yet been received. And now there is not only a very imperative need for as many as ordered, but for more also.

If you have not yet sent the books, please send, by Mr. Brooke:
35 - Davis' Primary Arithmetics,
and 35 - No. 7 Writing = Books, (with copies.)

If you have sent them [[with ? or order?]] 15- of each by Mr. Brooke also.

I have now [[2?]] 7 pupils, with a daily increase.

The school is doing well, - beyond expectations. -but would do better with the needed books. Don't fail to send them.

Respectfully,
