Olney, Montgomery Co., Md.,
Feb. 21st, 1868.

Rev. John Kimball,

Dear Sir,

I send the affirmation as you desire.

The check of $20 from the Freedmens' Commission was received yesterday.

The school is doing finely. I have just 100 pupils; most of them are very [[neat?]] and punctual.

Mr. Charles K. Brooke wishes to know whether his letter to you of Tuesday, sent to you by his colored mans family was received.
I hope you will visit us soon.

Respectfully,
