Encloses School Report for March. States that attendance has been small on account of bad roads, but the prospects of the school are good.

States that the freedmen meet with much discouragement from their former masters: - that letters encouraging them to persevere, addressed to Rev. [[underlined]] Thos. Harrison [[/underlined]], would work wonders.

Requests to be informed when the Supt. Ed. will visit them that they may call a meeting.
