The house is beautifully [[?]] in the cool grove, - the most delightful spot that I ever saw for school in summers, and where there is such zeal and such a thirsting for knowledge, I can most willingly deprive myself of even one visit in a whole year, & "Our own Green Mountain home."

After examination, I shall have the scholars begin to write me letters, to teach them the art of letter = writing.

I am very happy, when I see how fast my scholars are progressing, and would like, did I not fear to trespass on your time and patience, to write you a very long letter; but hoping to receive a inst from you soon, I am
