States that Mr. [[underlined]] James Wright [[/underlined]] of that place would like an appointment as teacher. Thinks him rather young, but has advised him to make application to the Supt. of Education. States that he reads and spells well but is deficient in some respects.

Thinks Mr. [[underlined]] Plato [[/underlined]] would not suit.
