West River Md Sept. 14, 1869.
Mr. John Kimball

Dear Sir,
I received your very welcome letter stating that you can come down most any day. I think on the 25th of this month will be the best time for you to come. On that day the school expects to have an exhibition and the people will be together. The people are very anxious to heare you speak. If that day will suit you please come. The people are expecting you on that day.

Very Respectfully yours,

P.S. Shall Mr. Edward Hall meet you at West River Landing? Please let me know this week if you can.
