Alexander the Navajo had joined us & only laughed and said the Domingoes "do not understand sand paintings - it is all right except that it isn't all there because of you is too narrow." However, I shall see Mr. Faris. The design isn't so good for the corner anyway. It has always been a hoo doo.

Reporters & Club women have been coming out which eats up time. A charming person though - a Miss Dorman who is writing a paper for Dr Hewett - is much alive and imparts as much knowledge as she asks. Interesting [[strikethrough]] with her [[/strikethrough]] at Mrs Van Stones. Am told our Romando married Awa Tsireh's sister and our Miguel is a son of the great Crecensio - San Ildefonso's first painter. Julian is related some way -

After all my suggesting that no background should be used, when we came in this P.M - it was going in solid - blue, green, and white - hills. Ye gods and shades of the Purists! I choked back a gasp if one can do that, but Mary only smiled "I would let them go ahead - they may discover something." They may bring something out of it, and if not, they themselves will be quick to see it I hope, and then the wall can be repainted. We are only experimenting. But I feel quite sick.
