[[underlined]] Technical [[/underlined]] - 20% hiring rate for minorities, including minority women.

[[underlined]] Clerical[[/underlined]] - No overall goals for the Institution. Some units will establish goals.

[[underlined]] "Other" [[/underlined]] - A goal of four women, including minority women. Ninety-four percent of the positions in the "Other" category are in the guard occupation for which this goal is targeted. This is based on the limited availability of women since Civil Service guidelines apply Veteran's Preference which significantly limits the number of female candidates.

In addition, organization units with a significant number of positions at grades 12 and above and with anticipated vacancies at those grade levels, have a goal to promote or hire one male or female minority and one non-minoity female in both the professional and administrative categories.

[[underlined]] Disabled Persons [[/underlined]]

The targeted handicap work force percentage, however, has remain stable at 0.7% or about 26 persons. Special recruitment efforts will be made in FY 1983 to increase the number of accessions of targeted handicapped persons.
