of "VIP" packets to presidents of historically black colleges on information concerning Smithsonian events in their areas; 2) permanent loans of panel exhibitions to minority institutions; 3) production of a poster version of "Black Women: Achievements Against the Odds"; 4) SI membership in the African-American Museums Associations; 5) Black History Month Seminar featuring Black aviators; 6) opening of the "Black Wings" filmstrip; 7) special lectures highlighting the writings of Hispanic visitors to the United States; and 8) lectures on Hispanic tradition in several host cities.
