Acknowledges receipt of draft for fifty-dollars. Stated in a letter of the 16th inst that they were in want of more Books, to be paid for (and also others he has bought) out of his salary: but if Mr.[[underlined]]Ballantyne[[/underlined]] will not wait till he receives his salary for March he does not want them sent. He says he will send the money for the books purchased, and inquires if he shall send bu mail: also that the first Readers charged in the bill were not in the package he received.
