Waterbury, Md. March 19th. 1868

Supt. Kimball:

I have just received the draught for fifty dollars, which you sent me.

I wrote you a letter Monday 16th. [[inst.??]], stating that we were in want of some more books, and that you should pay for these books, as well as those I have already purchased, out of my wages. If Mr. Ballantyne will not wait for his pay for both packages of books untill you receive` my salary for March, you need not send us any books at present, and I will send you the money for the books I received of him. Shall I send by letter? The First Readers, charged in the bill, were not put up. How can this be settled? Inclosed find the receipt, signed. Hoping to hear from you soon,
I remain, yours respectfully,
Jas. M. Gregory
