States that his School is progressing finely and the colored people manifest a deep interest in the cause of Education notwithstanding the prejudices of the whites, and they desire to have him continue his school till next spring: that in case he should do so, he would want to go North to spend the month of August. Requests to be informed if transportation can be granted him.
