Dear Sir I thought I would write and inform you of the procedings of this school I do not think that the people here will Support a School properely for I think that [[strikethrough]] [[indecipherable]] [[/strikethrough]] to much opposision exist here amoung the Freedmen they have not paid me but $2.00. since Cristmas they have promised to make publick colections for me at diferent times but when the time arives they will use the money for other purposes: Joseph Briddle and Justis Morris and Edward Morris three of the Trustees told me when I refused to teach school in that small House they have built they with held making a colection for me and said they would apply to your office for
