I have not heard from Mr. Black, as yet. As Mr. Black, has delayed to let me hear from him, & the school is increasing here, so I think it best for me to remain where I am, as the time is short. I am very sorry that I had to send Dr. Hatfield, such a report as I did, but I thought it best to let him know the true state of things here. Again, I did not think it prudent for me to say nothing about how I was geting on, but I hope to make a better report next time.

Very respectfully yours,

P. S. Mr. Mc Grath, requested me to ask you to send him word as to when you expect to come down, he wants to know in order that he may be ready for you.
