States in reply, that the trustees promised to have their school-house in order and to be ready for a teacher on Nov. 1st at "Broad Creek," but have failed to do so, or to send their children to school; that some of the people promise to send them after Christmas; that Mr [[underlined]] Douglas [[/underlined]] ( teacher) is waiting an answer.
