Dear Sir, and friend I am compel to write to you again, After writing to "C.H. Howard," but did not receive any answer. But now the school committee, which is 

H. T. Mitchell, Thomas Marriott, Caleb Pumphrey, Edwin Hill, [[underlined]] Wm Cook. [[/underlined]]
Desire to know wether you will send us, a Teacher, or not; as we before said, [[strikethrough]] a [[/strikethrough]] and it requires a man [[underlined]] Teacher [[/underlined]], and a colored man, is preferred, if you can make it convenient to get him. Please to let us know as soon as you receive this note, as our House is about done. So and let us know on what terms we can receive him, on
