May 16th 1869 Mr Kimball Dear Sir the draft came to hand all right for which I am very much oblige. I want to say a few words in regard to my School which is rather small there is plenty of children but it is so hard to get them to send their children some days I walk for miles and they promise fair enough but yet they dont send them there are about 30 small Children in the neighborhood. What do you think I had best do? I tell them school will be out in a few weeks now they say they dont want it to stop. now what must I do? please write soon to patuxent P.O. to Anna M Powell A.A.
