and were in the course of erection in the different Counties of this state.  Spoke of the wealthy and fertile County of Frederick, being so far behind many of his Sister Counties in an educational points.  He appealed to there better feelings and urged upon them to make every effort to educate themselves and their children, named many colored people that has distinguished themselves for education and ability.  Entreated them to stop liquor drinking and apply the money in getting an education and homes for themselves and children.  I do sincrely say, I think his speech will arouse them to action in this vicinity, so that it will not [[insert]] be [[/insert]] long before a school house will be erected here.  After friend Butler closed, we were invited to partake of an excellent dinner that had been spread in the grove near by, - after which the meeting was again called to order, and addressed by the Rev-Alexander [[?]] and the Rev. brother Lawson, both colored for some 15 or 20 miutes each.
