R. 30 O.S.E.D.C. Vol. 1. 1869. Robeytown, Prince George Co. Md. Feb. 14th 1869. Robey, T.B. States that Maj. [[underlined]] Swaim [[/underlined]] promised him he should have no further trouble in relation to the school-house, but that Maj. [[underlined]] Brown [[/underlined]] now requires him to make out a statement in detail of every thing furnished for building the house before he can be paid: that he has had trouble enough, and will do no such thing: that the Bureau can take out the furniture, and he shall take possession of the house &c. &c. Washington DC Feb 16' 1869 Respectfully forwarded. I recommend that the reasons be explained to Mr Robey why the payments have to be made on vouchers sent.
