Nottingham Febuary 14th, 1868
Dear Sir,
Yours received and in reply would state, the Col. people have made very slow progress in building their church and school house, since I wrote to you.  They have raised the frame and have the rafters up.  They are in want of windows and door frames, before they commence weatherboarding.  I heard a number of rumors about the building, and after the reception of your letter I sent for the committee to come to see me, to know from them how matters stood.  Buttler & Scott were here this evening.  They both said that arrangements had been made for five or six workmen, to commence on the building as soon as the weather moderates
