Mrs. Macomber tells me she wrote to you making application for the position of assistant to Mrs. Clark in her school at Annapolis.

If you have not appointed any one to that position, Mrs. M. would be a very suitable person, and would make herself useful not only in the school room but among the Colored people generally.
