I have the honor to transmit herewith a/c against the Freedmen's Bureau for rent of school buildings for colored schools in Md. for the quarter ending March 31st 70 which I hope you will find correct.

We are in great need of the money as our teachers are without pay for two months and we have no money till this a/c ($21.00) is settled. Your early attention is respectfully asked by
