I hope you will write me about our schools as soon as you have seen them, & report any one who seems incompetent. Miss Nancy Jones at Damascus, I have my doubts of, but Mr. Benj. Davis wrote a letter requesting that she might be allowed to remain at one time when we thought of removing her, so that we felt we might do harm by refusing [[strikethrough]] the re [[/strikethrough]] to let her make a longer trial.

Please to let Mrs. Clarke's Assist. report to the N. E. Branch A. F. U. C., as they will take charge of her.
