AM, returns from School 5½ PM and sometimes as late and 6½ PM  I have known Miss Hoy to get out of her bed Sick and travel to School when I wold think She would certainly have to return back home  Before Miss H Came to her present place to board She had not even the necessities of life and I have prepared food and sent it to her myself  I have visited her & found her room so Cold that it really was unpleasant to remain any length of time  she has often remarked to me that She suffered

so much in the night for the want of Sufficient covering and in the day for want of Sufficient fire and also that the trustees did not see that She had wood cut to burn in her School House during the Whole winter  Seeing any one pass She would hail them to cut her Some wood and I have often heard her and the lady whom she boards with say that not one trustee has been to see wether Miss H. needed any thing or not, wether she was intruding upon the people
