Your letter of yesterday is recd, reccommending the purchase of Lots cor. of E. st. [[s?]] & g. st. [[w?]]. (Island). We think the location good & feel very much indebted to you both for your efforts to find a location for another school (by the Trustees). But we think the terms too high. Both Mr. Bowen and myself believe we can purchase at 20. cents a foot better lots as an investment and as good for a school. We purchased on Capitol Hill for 15 cents & we have heard of some
