Dear Sir
Suppose you see Mr. Bowen & with his consent write Sibley offering 17 1/2 cents saying that is the highest price you will give for such a [[underlined]] deep [[/underlined]] lot.

I think Sibley will be glad to sell at that price. But if not then I am willing to buy the two lots at $2000 ^[[insert]] unless we can do better [[/insert]].
