1st That the Dining Room be divided by a half-partition with a door, also ceiled or plastered, so that a comfortable sitting or reception-room for the use of the teachers may be made of one part of it.

2d. That the five lodging rooms up stairs in the main building be plastered, or at least ceiled over head, in such a manner that they can be made comfortable for winter quarters.

3d. That the same be done in at ^[[insert]] least [[/insert]] two of the upper rooms in the small building formerly used as Laundry.

4th. That an additional Privy, with two apartments for the exclusive use of teachers ^[[insert]] and adults attached of the place [[/insert]] be built; and that proper fences be erected for screens, and to separate between portions of the existing privy which

may be appropriated to the different sexes.

5th That plank walks be laid from the several gates to the platform, and from the platform to the privies, as a protection against the mud in wet weather.

It is thought that these improvements are indispensable to a due regard for the health and comfort of the teachers who will be employed, and it is hoped that they will be granted.
