Dear Sir - I estimate that ten (10) stoves will be needed for the Schoolrooms in the late Freedmen's Hospital Building - one for each room. Six of them should be of large size, for the large rooms, and four may be smaller, for the recitation rooms.

I find that about two hundred and seventy-five (275) feet of pipe will be required for the stoves.

It has been though best to bring the desks formerly used in the High School building to the room to be occupied by that School. They have been already brought in; but a carpenter is needed to nail
