Rev John Kimbal
Supt of Schools &c

Mr dear Sir
I write you because I want a little assistance and it will be in your line exactly to give it. For reasons I will tell you on Saturday when I see you I am very anxious to know just how many desks and how many chairs Miss Flagg has in her school rooms. I want you to be so kind as to find out this for me and will you please notice also if they are not cherry tops and iron reeds. I must also find out how many of each Miss Perkins has in her school but that perhaps I can do on Saturday. I will show you the cheekiest letter you ever saw in your life, on Sat. written to the Sec of my Soc and which was referred to me for action

"I propose to move on his works at once" and you will confer a great favor by making the investigation above spoken of
I remain
Yours Truly
